Looks like Lupe’s back after he silenced himself and got caught up in a few weird political situations. “Light Blue”, a track from Lupe’s upcoming Tetsuo & Youth album, rumored to be the second half of Food and Liquor II, Lupe’s 2013 album release.
The hook is very Benjamin Buttonesque, if I may say so myself as Lupe raps, “since a shawty I was 40, and my 40s been like 80s / so by the time i die, I’m gon’ be a baby/and so my youth sound just like lightening coming down.”
This track just may be a solid “go” for Lupe fans worried that he’d flop on F&L2.
This Miami singer/rapper is abuzz over the web with her sole single “Gangsta”.
With a husky voice, Kat Dhalia tells stories of her personal life over a piano-infused track with a hook similar to that of 50’s “Wanksta”.
Take a ganter for yourself, she’ll have you googling her for more material, but it’ll be found nowhere. Guess we’ll have to wait for her to drop more heat.
Save the Date & Watch: #FlyBrigade hosts “Will Rap For Food”, raising over 400 lbs of food for needy families. Dir x @BryonSummers
@MileHigh_Tommy and the Fly Brigade took to the streets and hosted a benefit concert at the Jewish Mother on Nov. 18 all for a good cause.
Based on the theme of Tommy Fly Guy’s latest mixtape, “Will Rap For Food”, Tommy and several artists from the greater Hampton Roads are rapped for an audience who’s admission price was that of non-perishable foods.
After sorting through donations, over 400 pounds of food was accounted for.
If you missed the show, check your local listings for other means of donating to food banks and families in need of food, not only during holidays, but throughout the year.
In the meantime, the full length short film will be released Dec. 7.

Usually when I go to McDonald’s I get that nice, 32 ounce, sweet liquid crack that calls for water just for it to be bearable. Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a little, but you get the point.
Unfortunately, that’s not how I like my men or how I like to be communicated with.
